Sea Conditions, meteo-marine forecasts for the Mediterrenean Sea

SeaConditions” is now live. It is the first product of  the TESSA project, designed to provide meteo-marine forecasts for the Mediterrenean area. The general objective of the TESSA project is to improve and consolidate the products and the operational oceanography service in Southern Italy and to integrate this service with technological platforms of dissemination of information.

Sea Conditions is a free service of marine forecasts for the Mediterranean Sea. It is based on numerical models coupled with satellite data and in situ data (ships of opportunities, buoys). The service provides three days forecasts with specific time sections (every 6 hours).

Sea Conditions enables the consultation of both marine and atmospheric forecasts.
